Meet The Maker
Welcome to my workshop!
My name is Paul, the owner of Wyoming Workshop. Woodworking has been a source of purpose and satisfaction for me for many years, and I have dedicated myself to studying traditional joinery, mastering hand tools, and refining the skills that give fine woodworking its character. Each project is a chance to deepen that knowledge and create work that reflects a genuine respect for the craft.
In 2021, a stroke unexpectedly ended my corporate career and left me partially blind. Adjusting to that reality in a precision based craft took patience and determination. It forced me to slow down, work more intentionally, and develop an even deeper respect for accuracy and technique. In many ways, that limitation pushed me to become a better woodworker.
The path to Wyoming Workshop has been one of rebuilding and rediscovery. Through it all, woodworking remained steady. It grounded me, challenged me, and reminded me that craftsmanship is about patience, problem solving, and persistence. What began as a passion eventually revealed itself as the work that gave me purpose, and it became my second career.
Wyoming Workshop is the result of that leap. I build each piece with care, aiming for work that feels solid, honest, and thoughtfully made by someone who truly loves the trade.
